another day

My sister set a small fire in the kitchen last night as she was cooking dinner. Luckily mostly everyone was home so we all came to her rescue. I know I should have been more supportive, but I found the entire event hilarious, so I couldn't stop laughing. Zoe, who was already in a state of panic from setting the fire, grew angry with me because she took my laughter personally.

I mean, don't get me wrong, had it just been she and I and this small fire started, I would have had a different attitude. But because I wasn't needed to solve the problem and I was just observing from the sidelines, I could afford this luxury.

There's a bit of a black smudge on the wall, but other than that, we escaped anything even close to serious.
