the land of former prisoners

After a few weeks of no sightings, I finally spotted Ian again this morning. He was at the market and Ezra was talking to him. I walked up and listened in to the end of their politics discussion (not my favourite topic, that's for sure). Ezra pretended he had to get back to work (it's amazing how different he is to me because he's almost got a girlfriend now), and I chatted with Ian about his homeland, Australia. It sounds like a fascinating, but scary country, wildlife-wise. Kangaroos and the lot... those animals are insane. He responded to my marsupial comment by remarking how scary Sim-Sim birds are. He's got a point there, but it's just one animal, not an entire genus/family, whatever you call it.

He asked me if I was going to the camp tomorrow for the movie presentation, although he didn't know which film was going to be shown. I said I'd probably show up, since there's not too much else to do around here. :)
